I’d love to share my amazing journey at the Simssee Clinic. Having never visited a clinic like this before, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, my experience turned out to be truly unforgettable. The staff here is wonderful—exceptionally friendly, understanding, and genuinely supportive, making me feel comfortable from day one. The doctors are exceptionally kind, especially Dr. Berg. He is an outstanding doctor who took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and tailor my treatment accordingly. Though my German isn’t fluent, Dr. Berg spoke English very well, allowing us to communicate effectively and make significant progress together. As someone new to such clinics, I can confidently say this was the best experience I could have hoped for. The exercises were gentle yet effective, carefully tailored to each individual’s needs. I stayed at the clinic for three weeks, and while I was given the opportunity to extend my stay by another week, unfortunately, prior commitments prevented me from doing so. That said, I will absolutely return in the future. I wholeheartedly recommend the Simssee Clinic to anyone seeking care. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Berg and the entire team for their dedication and outstanding work—you’ve truly made a difference in my life!

A very good rehabilitation clinic, just a bit dated. I was here for a damaged shoulder (surgery for two torn tendons). It was repaired very well. However, you have to be willing to participate. Otherwise, you won't achieve much. There are always people everywhere who complain about everything. The therapists are all very good, the staff and nurses are friendly, and the food is very good. The rooms are functional, but there's mold in the bathroom grout. That needs to be taken care of urgently. There's a thermal spa with a sauna right next door, which is really lovely. The area is absolutely beautiful; you can take many lovely walks.

PSYCHOSOMATICS The doctor, therapists, and co-therapists are highly qualified, professional, and caring. The therapy is generally appropriate: there are enough breaks for recovery (it was a bit too much at one point, but only for a few days). It's a very intensive process that needs to be taken seriously. Anyone who isn't willing to accept external input and change things in their life that aren't good for them is in the wrong place (and shouldn't complain about a hospital stay that doesn't help). ROOMS (in this case, a standard room): The furnishings vary. My room had very little storage space. One fellow patient had a room with a small cabinet for storing odds and ends. There was a small refrigerator in the room. CLEANING: Every other day. Clean and tidy. Fresh bed linen: changed every 10 days as standard Wi-Fi: fee applies TV: fee applies KIOSK: good selection RECEPTION: unfortunately, some staff members weren't very friendly FOOD: not recommended. However, the various rolls available for breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The staff was also mostly friendly. The acoustics in the dining room are rather loud. DRINKS: There are water dispensers with sparkling and still water. There are hot water dispensers for tea, and various standard teas are available free of charge. DRINKING CUPS: limited. If you like to drink more than a sip at a time, you're well advised to bring your own larger mug. BED: I found it uncomfortable at first. Then I was told I could ask the cleaning staff for a mattress topper. It was delivered in no time. After that, it was very comfortable for me. There is a rather thin pillow provided. I brought my own. BALCONY: available (continuous) HAIR DRYER: not available BATHROOM POWER OUTLET: 1 available (various features) THERMAL BATHROOM: (next door, connected to the clinic by a tunnel): discounted entry for clinic patients (e.g., €12.50 day pass + sauna (if desired) €8.50). Various 4-week packages are also available. You can get fitness advice at the thermal baths. The sauna is very nice, with an outdoor pool. The food at the thermal baths was excellent. SURROUNDINGS: very beautiful nature all around (nice walks, sunsets), also great for mountain biking. Within a 10-15 minute walk: train station with kiosk, Müller drugstore, Edeka supermarket, Lidl supermarket, organic market, etc. CAFÉ: some really delicious cakes. They also have savory options.

I am incredibly grateful to the orthopedic team at the Simsee Clinic in Bad Endorf for the excellent care I received after my hip replacement surgery. Fifteen years of pain, and then at 42, the diagnosis: stage 4 osteoarthritis. I had my hip replacement in September 2025, and I did a lot of training both before and after the surgery. I started rehabilitation just one week after the operation. The therapists provided incredible support, and the team there was always helpful, courteous, and simply humane. I didn't feel like a "patient" at all; I was treated as a person. Thanks to the excellent treatments, the many helpful tips, and the fact that the therapists and doctors did a fantastic job, I was able to complete my first 10k run pain-free today (six months post-surgery).

My sister, 87 years old after knee surgery, and her husband, 92 years old, in the geriatric ward, were in the clinic from December 14, 2025, to January 10, 2026. They asked me to write a thank you to the staff, and especially to Dr. Gerhard Meier, who took such good care of them. They had a double room and were very well looked after and received excellent care. The treatments were outstanding! They highly recommend the clinic! Thank you again to everyone.
