We would like to sincerely thank the registry office and everyone involved. Our wedding ceremony with you last week was absolutely perfect. Our registrar organized everything so beautifully, and the champagne reception afterward, including the wedding greetings shown on the screen, was truly impressive. Thank you again for everything.

My daughter and her husband wanted to get married in Prien because it was advertised well online. In the municipality where they live, the venues aren't particularly nice, and the school is right next door. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the wedding ceremony in Prien, especially the bride and groom. Which is a shame, because it can't be repeated. The bride and groom couldn't have a beautiful entrance at all because the registrar wanted to complete the formalities immediately. The song that was originally intended for it couldn't be played either. After the formalities, it started straight away. An endless, boring speech. Not a single word about the couple. Not a personal word, nothing. After saying "I do," the formalities had to be clarified again immediately. My daughter then said that she would have liked to at least have the rings exchanged beforehand, the mutual marriage vows, and her song sung. I found it very sad that the bride and groom even had to request this during the ceremony! Photos and the video of the ceremony had to be specially taken so that the registrar couldn't be seen. That was their biggest concern. As a result, no good photos were taken. The video shows the bride and groom from bottom to top. It wasn't possible to film straight ahead because the tray couldn't be positioned correctly; it had to be placed to the side of the desk. Here, too, the registrar was afraid of being filmed. You really want to see the bride and groom, certainly not the registrar! Of course, there was champagne afterwards, and congratulations were exchanged. But the whole wedding ceremony was simply awful and very sad for the couple! Even in front of the town hall, we guests couldn't even line up for bubbles. It was extremely difficult for the photographers to get beautiful photos. Overall, we were very disappointed with the highly hyped ceremony. We still feel sorry for the bride and groom! They had hoped for a beautiful and festive wedding, which is why they had chosen to get married in Prien. This day will remain in all our memories, but not in a good way! It would have been better if they had gotten married in their hometown. I'm still annoyed with that registrar, who is so highly praised on the website. She ruined the entire ceremony for the couple. Her name should really be mentioned here! It's really awful to be so afraid of being in a photo or video, ruining all the couple's memories! The lady is even pictured on the website! I hope the registrar reads this and remembers this little ceremony so she knows who ruined the wedding! The bride was heavily pregnant. A word about the registry office's statement! My daughter and her husband told me that everything was clearly coordinated, especially when they made the banns. The entire process was discussed, including the registrar's personal words, the music, etc., even where the bridal car could park. Unfortunately, her registrar didn't adhere to any of this! A personal apology would be appropriate, not a statement full of excuses!

I live abroad and was briefly in Prien. I needed a new passport quickly before returning home, and even though Prien is theoretically no longer responsible for these matters, but rather the German consulate where I live, Ms. Linner from the Citizen's Registration Office was incredibly helpful and incredibly friendly. Good customer service is becoming increasingly rare, so this experience was especially nice. Thank you, Ms. Linner :)

Prien Building Authority: We contacted the building authority (Mr. Lindner and Mr. Zenk) regarding our planned glass roof in the garden. They responded quickly and even called us back. Unfortunately, the building documents still need to be reviewed by the district office, and despite inquiring in Rosenheim about two weeks ago, we haven't received any feedback – this clearly shows the difference in their work ethic compared to the municipality of Prien. It's incomprehensible that the differences are so significant...
