A short break at this parking lot is always worth it, as it takes about 30 seconds to reach the shore of Chiemsee, from where Amann has a wonderful view of the mountains.

Beautiful place, poor parking, no toilets. €15 for overnight parking paid through the Parkster app, €7 with coins in the machine for the whole day, €1 per hour in the machine or app. Rocky beach, shaded by trees, shallow for a long time, clean water, great for swimming 😁👍

In summer, it's definitely okay to charge such a price, but at the beginning of autumn, they could also waive the fees.
