Went there in the summer with my parents and had a snack and coffee, really pleasant slightly elder lady serving us and very friendly Nepalese chef. Really nice experience and would recommend.

Beautiful area, you can go up on foot, as there are many touristic trails on the mountain, or you can use the cable car. There are viewpoints where you can admire the Chiemsee lake. You can have a warm tea or a traditional meal in small traditional restaurants.
