I spent my very first rehabilitation stay in this beautiful facility. My rehabilitation was approved by the pension insurance for four weeks due to a chronic illness. Initially, I was skeptical because it is quite a long time, especially being away from family and my usual surroundings. However, after the third week, I decided to extend my stay by another week. I received excellent tips and suggestions for my daily life, was able to connect with others in similar situations, and my eyes were truly opened so that I could take myself, with my illness, more seriously and prioritize my health. From A to Z, from admission to room cleaning, ALL the staff were friendly, professional, and eager to address any requests or questions. The therapists are also very efficient in their schedules, and the plan is well-organized for each individual patient. Although the therapists have surely had to answer every question a hundred times, they never seemed impatient or bored in any way. ... Nordic walking, Qi Gong, manual therapy, water aerobics, brain training, autogenic training, art therapy, and even psychological appointments (a special thank you to Ms. G.!!!) All this and much more is available. The town of Bad Feilnbach can be reached via a beautiful walk along the stream. In town, there's a large Edeka supermarket, an ice cream parlor, a pharmacy, and a pizzeria with fantastic pizza. A bus stops right in front of the clinic, offering various excursions. The food at the clinic is varied and delicious; seconds were even provided upon request. I absolutely cannot understand the complaints about the food, as there's always something available at the buffet. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style, while lunch is selected from a slip of paper at the table, and you mark your choices for the following day. On weekends, there are events in the on-site café (dancing with a DJ), and it's also a lovely, bright, and comfortable place to relax and enjoy a slice of cake (open daily). The food at the clinic is varied and delicious, and seconds are readily available upon request. Ah yes, the rooms. The rooms are a bit dated, but perfectly clean and completely adequate, with a lovely balcony. In short: a fantastic hotel with motivated staff in a stunning location. I would like to sincerely thank the entire team at Reithofpark for the wonderful time I had there. By "team," I mean everyone, from the head physician to the maintenance staff. Everyone was always friendly, courteous, and helpful. I was accommodated in the sleep medicine unit and felt extremely well cared for and advised. My needs and wishes were addressed 100% without making me feel uncomfortable. I especially appreciated that, in addition to the medical aspects (with or without medication), they also addressed various other important factors for us, such as individual and group psychological counseling, physiotherapy/exercise, and nutritional advice. Regarding the building: It's a bit dated, but it was always clean. The food was also very good. At lunchtime, everyone was even served at their table, and there was a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Please don't discontinue the salad bar in the evenings ;-). I highly recommend this facility.
