The staff is very friendly and competent. I highly recommend the Hotel Gut Ising; there's something for everyone.

We always feel very comfortable at Gut Ising; the atmosphere is incomparable. The estate has many facets, from the hotel and restaurant to the riding stables and the golf course. The food is consistently excellent, while the golf club itself isn't as prominent compared to the larger courses around Lake Chiemsee. The nine holes are sometimes quite long, but overall, they don't present any major challenges. The course alone would only deserve three stars, but the overall ambiance justifies an extra one.
