Badria - Adventure Pool & Sauna | Opening Hours & Parking
The Badria in Wasserburg am Inn is much more than a classic indoor pool. The bathing, sports, and leisure center combines fun swimming, sauna world, family offers, and an event hall at one address on Alkorstraße 14 into a versatile destination on the Inn. The official website describes the facility as a paradise for relaxation with baths, events, and a spa, while the municipal utilities of Wasserburg operate it as a municipal enterprise. This mix makes the location attractive for families, sports enthusiasts, sauna guests, and event visitors. Those searching for Badria Wasserburg, Badria Adventure Pool, or Badria Sauna will find a destination that can be enjoyed year-round, where active leisure, relaxation, and practical infrastructure can be well combined. The location is also clear and straightforward: Badria is located in Wasserburg am Inn and can be quickly found via the official contact page with directions. The combination of indoor area, outdoor area, sauna garden, and hall ensures that a day at the pool can become a whole day of experiences. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/?utm_source=openai))
Badria Adventure Pool: Indoor Area, Slides, and Swimming Pools
In the indoor area, Badria clearly shows why so many search queries target terms like Badria Adventure Pool, indoor pool, or Badria Wasserburg. The official indoor offerings include a large swimming pool with 25 meters in length and five lanes, a fun fountain with bubbling seating, bottom bubble plates, waterfalls, spray nozzles, climbing wall, as well as underwater windows and lighting, plus a whirlpool for about ten people with water at 34 degrees Celsius. Additionally, there is a children's adventure pool with a baby area and changing facilities, an outdoor hot water pool with a constant temperature of 34 degrees, and two notable slides: the Black Hole slide at 106 meters and the Crazy River slide at 69 meters long. This is complemented by a textile steam bath at 45 degrees and 100 percent humidity, as well as a self-catering area in the relaxation winter garden. This mix is interesting not only for families but also for guests who want to swim sportily and then relax. Badria addresses multiple needs simultaneously with this setup: movement, play, water experience, and relaxation. The clear mix of swimming pools, adventure pools, and slides makes the indoor area a core argument for searching for photos, reviews, and impressions before visiting. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/badespass/innenbereich/?utm_source=openai))
Additionally, Badria consciously focuses on different types of use in the indoor area. The official text states that the perfect bathing landscape for various needs can be found here, referring to the transition between sporty swimming, family time, and relaxation. In practice, this means: those who want to swim laps use the 25-meter pool with five lanes and the separable areas, while families and children tend to head for the fun fountain, children's adventure pool, or slides. On warm bathing days, the pool is heated to 31 to 32 degrees, further emphasizing the cozy character. The relaxation room and the islands above the swimming pool also create zones where the stay does not feel hectic. This spatial division is important for visitors searching with keywords like seating, space, best spots, or photos for prior orientation, even if it is not a concert hall but a leisure facility. For many guests, Badria is therefore the right address when a day at the pool should not only consist of swimming but of a whole sequence of movement, pause, and relaxation. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/badespass/innenbereich/?utm_source=openai))
Outdoor Area, Badria Lake, and Summer Fun at the Inn
The outdoor area is another strong theme behind the search queries related to Badria. Officially, the outdoor area is described as a spacious facility with a water play garden, hot water pool, Badria Lake, sunbathing and play meadow, playground with eagle's nest, barbecue areas, Kneipp pool, beach volleyball, and kiosk. The water play garden is open from May to September in good weather and heated up to 32 degrees. Its three pools are made of natural stone and paving, connected by small streams, and offer sun decks for parents and breaks. Badria Lake itself is designed as a heated lake and opens annually from May; it features a small water slide, a large family wide slide, a water mushroom, a play ship, and additional water play equipment. There is also the stream slide, a 30-meter-long slide with water flow, which provides even more movement outdoors. Those searching for Badria photos or the impression of a summer pool will find here exactly the visual anchors expected from a family-friendly adventure pool. The official homepage also mentions over 23,000 square meters of bathing fun, making the dimensions of the overall offering tangible. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/badespass/aussenbereich/?utm_source=openai))
Particularly attractive about the outdoor area is that it focuses not only on water fun but also on the quality of stay. Around Badria Lake, there are numerous sunbathing areas with trees providing natural shade, and the sunbathing and play meadow is so large that it resembles a swimming lake more than a classic swimming pool. Families find not only water here but also space for picnics, playing, and resting. The kiosk, beer garden, and sun terrace take care of the physical well-being. Those who want to be active can play beach volleyball or use the Kneipp pool; the hand pool complements the classic wading and emphasizes the health aspect. Barbecue areas make summer outings even more convenient, as guests can grill with their own charcoal. This versatility is important because the outdoor area appeals not only to bathers but also to day trippers planning a complete summer day. In this context, the search term Badria Wasserburg fits very well: the location is a recreational spot that offers quality of stay beyond mere bathing operations and fits very well into the search intent of summer, outing, and relaxation at the Inn with its open spaces, water experience, and family-friendly additional offers. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/badespass/aussenbereich/?utm_source=openai))
Sauna World in Wasserburg: Wellness, Infusions, and Relaxation Zones
The sauna world is a central argument for Badria and an important component of the search queries for Badria Sauna, Badria Adventure Pool & Sauna, or Sauna in Wasserburg. The official sauna page describes a philosophy that aims to bring tradition and modernity, city and nature into balance, and this is exactly what is felt in the layout of the facility. The saunas include the forehead wood sauna with plenty of daylight and a view of the illuminated courtyard, the herbal sauna with various herbal infusions, the Finnish log cabin sauna at about 85 degrees with hourly infusions by qualified staff, the salt cave sauna at up to 80 degrees, the parlor sauna with wooden loungers and infusion machine, and the starry sky sauna as an atmospheric relaxation spot. The offering is complemented by the steam bath at about 40 degrees and 100 percent humidity, the brine bath, the Rasul bath with healing clay, the sand bath, and the hay bath. This variety is interesting not only for sauna connoisseurs but also for guests who consciously want to switch between temperature, scent, and relaxation. The combination of different sauna types and clear relaxation zones distinguishes Badria from a simple standard sauna. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/saunawelt/saunawelt/))
The sauna garden is also a real highlight and a significant reason why the search term Badria photos appears so frequently. The flyer describes the sauna garden as one of the largest in the area. There, a barefoot path, stream, water bubble area, sauna outdoor pool, winter garden relaxation room with a view of the outdoor pool and sauna garden, two plunge pools in the indoor and outdoor areas, a large relaxation area with light and color atmosphere, a marble foot bath room, an ice fountain, and a dedicated gastro area await. This is a very complete wellness setup that extends the stay beyond mere sweating and strengthens the character of a day in the sauna world. Particularly helpful for first-time visitors is that the facility is clearly described and presented on the website with a site plan and 360-degree views. This allows guests to better orient themselves before their visit. For people seeking relaxation, Badria is therefore not only a bathing place but also a wellness destination with a pronounced sauna identity. Those wanting to break away from everyday life will find here a combination of warmth, tranquility, connection to nature, and good organization that makes the sauna visit pleasantly manageable. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/wp-content/uploads/BadriaFlyer-2025.pdf))
Directions, Parking, and Barrier-Free Visit at Badria
For many visitors, the question of directions and parking is almost as important as the actual offerings. Badria is located at Alkorstraße 14 in 83512 Wasserburg am Inn, and the official site directly refers to directions via Google Maps and provides the phone number 08071 9202-10. The opening hours are clearly communicated: the pool is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, the sauna opens on Mondays from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Additionally, it is noted that the pool is barrier-free. For prior orientation, it is also helpful that the website offers 360-degree views, allowing guests to get a good picture of the pool, sauna world, and hall before their first visit. This is particularly relevant for families, groups, and guests with specific travel needs, as they can better assess the premises and access points. In a place like Wasserburg am Inn, where travel and parking situations often need to be considered, this transparency is a real advantage. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/infos/?utm_source=openai))
Regarding parking, the city map of Wasserburg provides concrete, reliable information. There is a Badria parking lot with 12 spaces and charging options, and the Badria flyer additionally indicates separate spaces for motorhomes. This combination makes the location practical for different modes of arrival, from short family trips to outings with campers. For guests coming from the surrounding area or combining their visit to Badria with another city visit, the good signage of parking options is also helpful. Even if the specific parking needs may vary depending on the day of the visit, the official location is clear: there is a direct, nearby parking solution on site, and the facility does not rely on improvised interim solutions. This is an important plus, as relaxed bathing fun often begins with an uncomplicated arrival. For search queries regarding Badria parking, Badria directions, or Alkorstraße 14, this information is therefore central. Those who value charging options for their vehicle or are traveling with a motorhome will find concrete information here instead of mere promotional statements. ([wasserburg.de](https://www.wasserburg.de/fileadmin/Dateien/Dateien/Wasserburg/Tourismus_Freizeit/Prospekte/stadtplan_parken_2024.pdf))
Event Hall, Events, and Use Beyond the Pool Day
A special feature of Badria is the event hall, which significantly expands the complex beyond a mere leisure pool. The official hall page describes a hall that can be rented for events of all kinds. Technically, it is well equipped: the total hall measures 27 by 45 meters, totaling 1,215 square meters, it can be divided into three hall sections with folding partition walls, has four indoor and three outdoor changing rooms with washing and shower facilities as well as toilets, and offers a stage made of 30-millimeter thick spruce boards with clearly defined dimensions. Particularly relevant for event organizers is the seating: there are retractable grandstands with 450 seats, additional seating for 800 seats, and tables for around 800 visitors. The hall is suitable for concerts, balls, fairs, exhibitions, markets, weddings, and sports tournaments. This is why the search term Badria event hall fits very well into the SEO profile of this location. The hall brings not only space but also flexibility and makes the location interesting for public, private, and cultural formats. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/de/infos/veranstaltungshalle/))
That the hall is indeed used in everyday life is clearly shown by the current event pages. The website features examples such as BRK blood donation, indoor flea market, artisan market, The Magic of ABBA, long sauna nights, and other formats. The spectrum ranges from social engagement to family and flea market events to show and music evenings. This is important for visitors because Badria does not limit itself to summer or individual pool visits but functions as a vibrant event venue throughout the year. The connection of events, sauna, and pool is also exciting: a sauna night here is not just an evening in warm rooms but part of a clearly organized overall concept with its own event page, clean schedule, and functioning infrastructure. Those searching for Badria events, Badria hall, or Badria photos will therefore find not only a leisure pool but a place with changing programs and diverse usage options. This is particularly attractive for regional visitors, as the hall continually creates new occasions to revisit the premises. ([badria.de](https://www.badria.de/de/infos/veranstaltungshalle/))
History, Sponsorship, and Practical Information for Your Visit
The history of Badria also contributes to the profile of the location. An official statement from the city of Wasserburg mentions that the bathing, sports, and leisure center Badria was built in 1978. At the same time, it states that the facility has been regularly renewed for many years and that it is a popular destination for around 250,000 bathers and sauna guests annually. Together with the imprint of the website, this creates a clear picture: Badria is a municipally anchored institution operated by the municipal utilities of Wasserburg am Inn as a municipal enterprise. This sponsorship also explains why the pool, sauna, hall operation, and service appear so closely coordinated. For visitors, this is a good sign, as it indicates a long-term maintained and municipally anchored leisure infrastructure. Badria is therefore not a short-lived project but a well-established facility with regional significance and a clear anchoring in Wasserburg am Inn. ([wasserburg.de](https://www.wasserburg.de/fileadmin/Dateien/Dateien/Wasserburg/Stadt_Buerger/Aktuell_Informativ/Heimatnachrichten_2021/whn_11_2021.pdf))
Practical information also includes that Badria organizes its offerings broadly: the website lists courses, prices, vouchers, children's birthdays, careers, and current news in addition to the pool and sauna. This quickly makes it clear that the location is more than just a swimming opportunity. It is a leisure complex with a service mindset that addresses various target groups and is designed for repeat visits. Those interested in photos, reviews, or an initial overview will also find 360-degree views and clearly structured areas for the pool, events, and spa on the website. This makes orientation easy and helps in planning a family outing, a sauna day, or an event in the hall. Overall, Badria stands for a mix of tradition, modernization, and versatile leisure activities that have been functioning in Wasserburg am Inn for decades. This is precisely why Badria is so present in search engines: the location answers several user questions at once, namely where to swim, sauna, park, celebrate, and relax. Those looking for a place that combines bathing pleasure, wellness, and event use in one ensemble will find in Badria a coherent and regionally established address.
The bath is a good place to swim and has good options for small kids. The sauna is nice too - crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. Update 09.2022: Due to energy savings, there’s no infrared room, no heated outdoor whirlpool, and some sauna rooms are deactivated.

Other than the road construction and the closed parts (sauna and outdoor pool), the place is great and affordable for a family.
