This makes the classic service hours transparent and well-planned. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/gemeinde-chieming-203))
For many inquiries, direct responsibility is just as important as the opening hours. Therefore, the municipality lists not only the town hall as a whole but also the respective areas of expertise with their own contacts. This is especially helpful when it comes to a quick inquiry regarding a construction project, a civil registry matter, or a general administrative question. Additionally, there is a contact form on the website as well as a reference to the Bavaria portal with a secure contact form. This structure makes the citizen service in Chieming clear, as interested parties do not have to search long but can directly reach the appropriate contact person. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/kontaktformular?utm_source=openai))
The tourist information is also part of this clear service organization. In practice, this means: The town hall is the right place for official matters, while the tourist information focuses more on visitor inquiries, leisure, and orientation on-site. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/detail/sachgebiet-12-190))
Registry Office and Registration Matters
The registry office is anchored in Chieming in area 13, which is explicitly referred to on the website as the Office for Public Safety and Order / Registry Office. This is particularly relevant for inquiries regarding marriage, birth, or death matters, as it immediately clarifies which administrative unit is responsible. The municipality lists several direct contacts for this area, including Annalena Brandl, Tanja Christlhuber, and Jana Neubert, each with their own phone number and email address. So, anyone looking for not just the general contact but a specific responsibility will find a very direct path in Chieming. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/sachgebiet-13-amt-fuer-oeffentliche-sicherheit-und-ordnung-standesamt-213?utm_source=openai))
Especially for search terms like residents' registration office, it is useful to understand the official structure of the municipality. The term is often used by citizens as a general term for registration matters, while the municipality itself operates through area 13 and aligns its services with the responsibilities there. This is no coincidence but a typical administrative structure in smaller and medium-sized municipalities: A central area takes care of regulatory questions, civil status, and related concerns. For users, this means primarily fewer detours, as they can quickly reach the right person via the published extension or the main number. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/sachgebiet-13-amt-fuer-oeffentliche-sicherheit-und-ordnung-standesamt-213?utm_source=openai))
The official site also shows that Chieming not only provides phone numbers but also digital contact options. In addition to the individual email addresses, there is a reference to a secure contact form via the Bavaria portal. This is a practical advantage, especially for documents, inquiries, or appointment requests. The registry office is thus not only a fixed address in the town hall but part of a modern, multi-channel citizen service. So, anyone searching for Municipality of Chieming Registry Office will directly find the responsible persons, the location in the town hall, and the secure way for written contact. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/sachgebiet-13-amt-fuer-oeffentliche-sicherheit-und-ordnung-standesamt-213?utm_source=openai))

([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/ueber-chieming/bauen-und-planen/bauleitplanung))
For practice, this is a very useful note: Anyone wanting to understand a development plan can orient themselves online, but for legally relevant information, they should always contact the building administration. This separation between information and bindingness is crucial in planning law. Additionally, the municipality also names the building yard with important infrastructure tasks. These include the maintenance of roads, squares, facilities, and properties, water supply, sewage network, road maintenance, winter service, and the municipal cemetery. Municipality of Chieming | Opening Hours & Registry Office
The Municipality of Chieming is clearly organized as a citizen service location on its official website: In the town hall at Hauptstraße 20, general administration, registry office, building authority, municipal council, elections, and other areas of expertise come together. Those who want to quickly find the right place benefit from the clearly separated areas for the town hall, offices, urban planning, service, tourism, and current news. At the same time, Chieming is located directly on the eastern shore of Lake Chiemsee, combining administrative paths with a location shaped by the lake, nature, and history. This very mix makes the municipality equally interesting for locals, prospective builders, seekers of advice, and visitors. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/gemeinde-chieming-203))
Opening Hours, Phone Number, and Contacts at the Town Hall
Anyone wishing to contact the Municipality of Chieming will find the most important information immediately on the website: The town hall is located at Hauptstraße 20, 83339 Chieming. The central phone number is +49 8664 9886-0, and the extension is +49 8664 9886-35. The general email address is gemeinde@chieming.de. The opening hours of the town hall are also clearly published: Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 12:00, additionally on Mondays from 13:00 to 16:30 and on Thursdays from 13:00 to 17:30.
It is located in the House of Guests, Hauptstraße 20b, 83339 Chieming, and can be reached at +49 8664 9886-47 and info@chieming.de. The official page lists separate opening hours for the tourist information, allowing for a clear distinction between administration and guest information.
Building Authority and Urban Planning
The building authority is organized in Chieming as area 12 in the building administration & properties. The detail page lists several contacts with direct extensions, including Veronika Feichtner, Elvira Stähr, and Alexander Weiß. For inquiries like Municipality of Chieming Building Authority, this structure is important because it shows that not only the area is named, but also specific persons are available for inquiries. The official site also makes it clear that legally binding information regarding planning should always be obtained from the building administration. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/detail/sachgebiet-12-190))
Particularly relevant in Chieming is urban planning, as ongoing and completed procedures are transparently documented there. The municipality lists several current procedures on its site, including the 20th amendment to the land use plan, the project-related development plan for the Senior Center Chieming, the special area for the Lidl food market project, and the 25th amendment to the development plan for the Egerer I commercial area. For each procedure, the periods for public display are specified, which is important for citizens, owners, and planning interested parties. At the same time, the municipality explicitly points out that the portal is a first information platform and does not replace the original plan legally.
This shows how broadly municipal everyday life is organized in Chieming. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/ueber-chieming/bauen-und-planen/bauleitplanung))
So, anyone searching for Municipality of Chieming Development Plan finds not only an overview of procedures but also a clear logic of responsibility: Building authority for planning and information, building yard for the practical operation of infrastructure, and the portal for initial orientation. This combination is equally helpful for builders, residents, and investors, as many questions can be categorized early on. Especially for location-based projects, it is an advantage that the municipality publishes its procedures transparently and simultaneously names specific contacts. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/detail/sachgebiet-12-190))
Municipal Council, Local Elections, and Election Results
The municipal council of the Municipality of Chieming consists of the first mayor and sixteen council members. From among them, two additional mayors were elected for the duration of the election term, who serve in an honorary capacity. This structure provides a good insight into the political organization of the municipality and is particularly important for inquiries like Municipality of Chieming Municipal Council or Municipality of Chieming Election. The website makes it clear that local democracy in Chieming is manageable but clearly structured. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/gemeinderat))
For the local election in 2026, the municipality publishes its own information page. There, eligibility, deadlines, templates, and announcements are bundled. According to the official announcement, the election announcements are published via the notice board at the town hall, through the municipality's homepage, and additionally in the municipal bulletin of the Municipality of Chieming. This is relevant not only for candidates and supporter lists but also for anyone wanting to inform themselves early about municipal processes. The term municipal bulletin is therefore not just a loose keyword but a genuinely used publication method. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/fileadmin/Gemeinde/Dateien/Wahlen/Kommunalwahl_2026/Bekanntgabe_%C3%BCber_die_Art_der_Bekanntmachungen_f%C3%BCr_HP.pdf))
The election results are also documented on the website. The results page for the local election refers to separate evaluations for mayoral elections, municipal council elections, and district council elections. Additionally, specific participation numbers are mentioned: For the municipal elections, 4,021 people were eligible to vote, 2,658 participated, resulting in a voter turnout of 66.1 percent. For the district council election, the voter turnout was 65.0 percent. These numbers show that local elections in Chieming are well received and that the municipality transparently publishes the results. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/nachrichten/artikel/ergebnisse-der-kommunalwahl))
For inquiries regarding the electoral office, the municipality also provides clear contact details. Responsible are Tanja Christlhuber as the municipal election officer and Annalena Brandl as the clerk, reachable at the phone number 0 86 64/98 86-29 and via email at wahlen@chieming.de. This closes the loop between political information, official announcements, and practical contact opportunities. So, anyone searching for Municipality of Chieming Election Results or Municipality of Chieming Local Election finds not only results but also the way to the responsible office. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/wahlen/kommunalwahl))
Official Bulletin, Municipal Bulletin, and Job Offers
For official information, Chieming uses several channels that are clearly integrated on the website. The election documents explicitly mention the municipal bulletin of the Municipality of Chieming as an additional publication medium alongside the notice board at the town hall and the homepage. Those searching for the municipal bulletin often mean this form of official municipal communication: relevant texts, notices, and administrative information that should be binding or at least publicly accessible. The municipality ensures that important content is disseminated not only digitally but also through traditional official channels. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/fileadmin/Gemeinde/Dateien/Wahlen/Kommunalwahl_2026/Bekanntgabe_%C3%BCber_die_Art_der_Bekanntmachungen_f%C3%BCr_HP.pdf))
In the area of job offers, the municipality also presents itself as an active employer. On the page Municipality of Chieming as an Employer, the administration describes that it is looking for people who want to take responsibility, enjoy working in a team, and want to shape everyday life on-site. The job page emphasizes a collegial, citizen-oriented, and solution-oriented work approach. This directs search terms like Municipality of Chieming Job Offers or Municipality of Chieming Employees directly to an official page where the municipality presents itself as an employer and consolidates job openings or tenders. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/stellenanzeigen))
For orientation, it is also important that the municipality always names specific contacts on its area pages. This applies to the building authority and the registry office, but also to other areas of administration. So, anyone searching for employees in Chieming finds not an anonymous authority but clear names, functions, and extensions. This is a real advantage for citizens and applicants alike, as the contact becomes more personal and quicker. Additionally, the website refers to other service areas such as Chieminger News, Damage Report, Lost and Found Office, Elections, Supply and Disposal, and Events. This creates a communication network that goes far beyond mere administration. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/buergerservice-politik/rathaus/aemter-und-sachgebiete/organisation/gemeinde-chieming-203))
Especially for local SEO, this topic complex is valuable: Search inquiries for municipal bulletin, official bulletin, job offers, or employees do not lead to a single document but to several official entries. The Municipality of Chieming uses the combination of website, official bulletin, town hall notice board, and direct contact pages for this purpose. This makes the information landscape clear and ensures that official content and service offerings remain easily findable in one place. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/fileadmin/Gemeinde/Dateien/Wahlen/Kommunalwahl_2026/Bekanntgabe_%C3%BCber_die_Art_der_Bekanntmachungen_f%C3%BCr_HP.pdf))
History, Location, and Special Aspects of Chieming
Chieming has a long history. The official history page describes that Ising was first mentioned in documents between 737 and 748 as the first district, Chieming became a parish around 1120, and further settlements and farms are documented in the 12th century. Later, a manor center developed from Neuenchieming before the secularization and the Bavarian municipal edicts of the 19th century reorganized the municipal structure. In 1869, the municipalities of Chieming, Hart, Tabing, and Oberhochstätt were established; in 1972, Hart and Ising were added, and in 1983, Ober- and Unterhochstätt. This development explains why the municipality is historically grown and simultaneously modernly organized today. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/ueber-chieming/ein-blick-zurueck/geschichte-chiemings))
The cultural perspective is also remarkable. The website refers to Roman roots, early settlement history, and the Heimat House Chieming, where finds from various epochs are displayed. Historical village and local tours complement this offer. Anyone wanting to understand the municipality not only as an administrative location but as a place with history will find a strong red thread from the Early Bronze Age through the Roman period to the present. Even in the town hall, according to the history page, a Roman tombstone can be viewed, making the connection between the administrative seat and local history even more visible. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/chieming-erleben/kulturelles-chieming/chiemings-historie))
The special location includes, of course, the eastern shore of Lake Chiemsee. The municipality describes a freely accessible and barrier-free lakeside promenade, a nature observation platform with a view of the lake and the Chiemgau Alps, as well as other barrier-free paths along the shore. There are also places like the beach bath, the lakeside promenade, the boat landing stage, and nature experience stations. This is more than just tourist embellishment: It shows that Chieming is a municipality where everyday life, nature experience, and visitor friendliness are closely intertwined. Especially the barrier-free orientation at several points is a strong practical feature. ([chieming.de](https://www.chieming.de/chieming-besuchen/chieming-barrierefrei/barrierefreie-uferpromenade))
For inquiries like Municipality of Chieming opening hours, registry office, building authority, or municipal council, Chieming is therefore not just an administrative address but a lively municipality with a clear structure, history, and high quality of stay. The official website convincingly connects service, citizen proximity, and local identity. Beautiful section at Chiemsee. Plenty of spots for swimming and relaxing. In the high season, it’s just a bit harder to find a table at the lakeside restaurants. Especially Monday and Tuesday have some days off. In the village, there's a large grassy area with a playground for the kids.
