Follow the Feldkirchner Stream to its hidden sources
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Agenda 21, in collaboration with the Nature Conservation Association, invites you to a nature hike around Feldkirchen-Westerham. The guided tour follows the Feldkirchner Stream upstream from Feldkirchen towards Buchberg, offering impressive insights into the local natural and cultural landscape.
Watercourses, Forest Slopes, and Quiet Spring Valleys
The Feldkirchner Stream originates from several spring brooks west of Buchberg. The hike leads into wooded areas along the stream, where the small watercourses flow down through steep ravines. The landscape combines dynamic topography with moist habitats, making local nature directly experienceable.
Discover Nature and Understand Connections
The approximately three-hour city and nature tour focuses on the origin of the waterway, the landscape forms around Buchberg, and the importance of intact spring areas. This discovery experience combines outdoor movement with expert information about the regional ecology and the cultural environment of Feldkirchen-Westerham.
A Hike for Nature Lovers
The route circles the spring area and then leads back to Feldkirchen. The changing terrain and wooded slopes give the hike a varied character. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing create good conditions for participation.
Conclusion: Actively Experience Local History and Nature
The Agenda 21 hike shows the Feldkirchner Stream at the place where its journey begins: in the spring brooks west of Buchberg. Anyone wanting to connect regional nature, hidden landscapes, and sustainable education will find an authentic cultural enrichment here.
