Tabaluga and Lilli: A dragon-strong musical adventure in Rosenheim
When the small green dragon Tabaluga sets off on October 16, 2026, at the KULTUR + KONGRESS ZENTRUM Rosenheim, the stage transforms into a fairy-tale world of fire, ice, and strong emotions. The family musical Tabaluga and Lilli combines the music of Peter Maffay with an imaginative story about courage, friendship, and the power of love.
A journey to the True Fire
Long ago, dragons guarded the world with the warmth of their fire. But Arktos, the terrible snowman, wants to bury all living things under a blanket of ice. Tabaluga's father Tyrion prepares his son for his great task: He must find the True Fire and thwart Arktos's destructive plans.
The dramaturgy guides the young audience through a series of dangers, encounters, and magical moments. In his search, Tabaluga faces the spider woman Tarantula, among others. Each station sharpens his view of the world and helps him realize that not only courage, but also compassion and trust guide the way.
Love between fire and ice
Arktos creates the girl Lilli out of pure ice to distract Tabaluga from his mission. His plan seems to work at first: Tabaluga falls in love with Lilli. But from this encounter arises an unexpected strength. The production does not portray love as a mere distraction, but as a great power that changes the hero and broadens his view of good and evil.
Music, stage design, and theatrical atmosphere
Well-known songs from the Tabaluga world drive the narrative and create a musical resonance space for children and adults. Loving costumes, imaginative characters, and innovative stage designs bring the world of the little dragon to life. The theater atmosphere in the KU’KO combines colorful stage art with a clear, family-friendly narrative style.
The production is aimed at families and anyone who wishes to rediscover the child within. The combination of musical, acting, and fairy-tale decoration creates a stage experience that sparks a sense of adventure while conveying themes such as responsibility, friendship, and solidarity.
A family afternoon full of imagination
Doors open at 3:30 PM, and the performance starts at 4:30 PM. Tickets are available starting at 26.50 euros; discounts are available for children up to 14 years and groups of ten or more. The musical is recommended for children aged four and up.
Conclusion: Experience Tabaluga's adventure live
Tabaluga and Lilli brings fire and ice, excitement and emotion, music, and fairy-tale stage designs together.
