Bloody musical cult meets quirky humor
When five college students stumble upon evil in a remote cabin in the woods, a stage adventure begins at the KULTUR + KONGRESS ZENTRUM Rosenheim that blends horror film, rock musical, and dark comedy. Evil Dead – The Musical combines the cult classics The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 into an extraordinary theater experience full of energy, music, and grotesque surprises.
A cabin, five students, and bare chaos
The dramaturgy follows a simple yet effective setup: A group of young people travels to a secluded cabin and unleashes forces that are better left hidden. The initially harmless getaway develops into a fast-paced nightmare featuring demonic encounters, macabre wit, and a generous dose of stage blood.
Horror with rhythm and dark humor
The production thrives on the deliberate transition between shocking moments and punchlines. Rocky songs, over-the-top dance numbers, and grotesque imagery transform the horror film material into a musical with its own theatrical language. The direction relies on rapid scene changes, physical acting, and the enticing contrast between musical precision and completely unleashed chaos.
A stage experience for fans of the unusual
The interplay of set design, lighting mood, costumes, and acoustics creates a theater atmosphere that immediately draws the audience into the demonic cabin in the woods. The result is not a classic scare night, but an energetic spectacle for all who enjoy the collision of musical, horror, and comedy.
Conclusion: Cult cinema becomes a live explosion
Evil Dead – The Musical promises an evening filled with musical drive, dark humor, and deliberately exaggerated horror show. Those who want to experience the events not just on screen but as an immediate stage experience will find the perfect venue in KU'KO Rosenheim for this bloody musical cult.
