Learn Chess with the Inntaler Chess Friends in Brannenburg
A ten-part chess course by the Inntaler Chess Friends starts in Brannenburg on October 9, 2026. The royal game is the focus in the community room of the Wohngemeinschaft Sägmühle: Participants learn the basics of the board, pieces, opening, tactics, and game strategy in a concentrated yet sociable atmosphere.
From the First Move to Your Own Game Idea
The free course is aimed at beginners who want to systematically learn chess. On the board, foresight, close observation, and tactical instinct come together. Step by step, individual moves create a complete game system.
Chess Excitement in the Community Room
When the pieces are set up and the first game begins, calmness, concentration, and an eye for possible combinations count. Castling, material gain, simple checkmating patterns, and tactical motifs form the basis for exciting training games. The 90-minute sessions provide room for practice, questions, and joint analysis.
Children are Also Welcome
Children from 2nd grade are warmly welcomed. The only requirement is that they can read. Enrollment is possible at any time. This makes the course suitable for complete beginners as well as for those interested in deepening their first chess experiences.
Conclusion: Make the First Move Yourself
The chess course of the Inntaler Chess Friends combines mental sport, joy of playing, and community. Those who want to learn the basics of chess and experience the special excitement of a game directly at the board will find a suitable entry point in Brannenburg.
