Together for a Clean Chiemsee Shore
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, the Stippelwerft in Prien at Lake Chiemsee will transform into a meeting point for an engaged community action: During the Autumn Ramadama, volunteers will clear the shoreline path of litter and together make a visible statement for nature conservation and quality of life at Chiemsee.
Cleaning up where autumn leaves its marks
The shoreline area is located in the Chiemsee protected area. Therefore, the cleaning action is not held during the bird breeding season in spring. Autumn is the right time to make the shoreline path clean and attractive again for locals and visitors. The organization is undertaken by environmental advisor Angela Kind and the municipality of Prien at Lake Chiemsee.
Practical Engagement with a View of the Lake
The event starts at 9 a.m. at the Stippelwerft in Stock. Trash bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided on-site, allowing volunteers to begin the collective effort right away. The event combines volunteer commitment, nature experience, and a special event atmosphere at the Chiemsee shore.
Community is Central
Engaged citizens, clubs, and anyone who wants to actively support Prien and the Chiemsee landscape are welcome. The event planning is designed for a focused morning: The collection action will conclude around 12 p.m. There are parking options available at the Prienavera parking lot for those arriving by car; the parking ticket will be validated as part of the action.
Thank You After the Work is Done
After the cleanup, participants will be treated to a snack. Additionally, there will be a sweet treat with Priener Fairsuchung chocolate. This concludes the event experience with a joint break and the good feeling of having done something for nature at Chiemsee.
Conclusion: Get Involved and Protect the Chiemsee
The Autumn Ramadama in Prien offers a straightforward volunteering experience for everyone who values their region and wants to contribute practically. Anyone who wants to leave the Chiemsee shoreline cleaner and meet nice people is just right for this community conservation action.
