Cinematic Enjoyment Among Bookshelves: Cinema in Rosenheim
When the City Library Rosenheim transforms into a special cinema hall on Wednesday evening, a unique event experience with its own atmosphere arises. At the cinema on October 28, 2026, selected film art, cozy cinema feeling, and the inspiring environment between bookshelves come together.
Cinema Evening with Special Ambiance
The screening begins at 19:30 in the City Library at Salzstadel. The children's area of the library can be transformed into a cinema hall within minutes through a project by the Faculty of Interior Architecture, Architecture, and Design of the Technical University of Rosenheim. Thus, the evening connects film culture with an unusual event location.
Selected Film and Vibrant Audience Atmosphere
The film on the program will be announced shortly before the event on the websites of the City Library and the KulturKlub Rosenheim. The cinema is aimed at film enthusiasts who want to discover current and special productions away from the classical multiplex cinema. The intimate room design creates closeness, concentration, and a relaxed event atmosphere.
Collaboration with the KulturKlub Rosenheim
The series is organized by the City Library Rosenheim in collaboration with the KulturKlub Rosenheim e.V. The project is supported by the Friends of the City Library Rosenheim. The event planning combines cultural education, film mediation, and a community cinema experience into a regularly recurring cultural format in Rosenheim.
