Experience Bavaria on the big screen with In Tracht um die Welt

On October 14, 2026, Stefan Erdmann invites you to a special live cinema at Aibvision Bad Aibling. In Tracht um die Welt combines documentary film art, personal narratives, and the cultural diversity of a Chiemgau traditional costume association into an extraordinary art experience.

A cinematic journey between home and the world

The documentary travels from Bavaria to the world and back again. Visually powerful film sequences tell stories of journeys, encounters, and an open perspective on folklore groups from different cultural backgrounds. Central to the narrative are people whose experiences over approximately 70 years create a vibrant panorama of traditional costumes, customs preservation, and international connections.

Tradition as a dynamic cultural history

With this project, Stefan Erdmann departs from the classical territory of nature films and dedicates himself to a cultural exploration. Traditional costume appears not as a static folkloric symbol, but as an expression of memory, community, and lived identity. The filmic montage connects historical experiences with contemporary impressions and makes cultural education sensually perceptible.

Live commentary and aesthetic experience

The film screening will be live-commentated by Stefan Erdmann. Anecdotes, stories, and emotions complement the projection and create an immediate exhibition atmosphere in the cinema hall. A duration of 100 minutes promises a concentrated viewing experience, where landscapes, faces, fabrics, colors, and movements merge into an impressive visual fabric.

Audience feedback

In published guest comments, Erdmann's works are described as touching, magical, and of exceptional image quality. The connection of landscapes, music, and personal narrative, as well as the new perspective on one's own homeland, are particularly emphasized.

Conclusion: An evening for culture enthusiasts and travel lovers

In Tracht um die Welt promises an atmospheric live cinema blending documentary film, cultural history, and personal travel narrative. Those who wish to experience Bavaria, international encounters, and the aesthetic power of large images will find an inspiring evening with Stefan Erdmann at Aibvision Bad Aibling.
