Creatively Together: An Artist Couple Combines Watercolor, Acrylic, and Ceramics

On Friday, November 6, 2026, the exhibition Creatively Together will open at the KUNSTschmiede Brannenburg. Gloria Weicher and Rudi Schiedermair present a cross-section of their shared artistic work and invite visitors into a diverse world of painting and ceramics.

Between Color, Form, and Material

The exhibition thrives on the dialogue of different artistic expressions. Gloria Weicher showcases works in watercolor and acrylic. Her watercolors are shaped by expressive nature observation, while the acrylic paintings employ dynamic colors and life-affirming forms. Rudi Schiedermair complements this painterly perspective with ceramics, whose diverse shapes, surfaces, and firing techniques add a tactile dimension to the space.

Insights Into a Shared Understanding of Art

The exhibition title refers to the creative connection of the couple. Creatively Together does not stand for uniformity, but for a productive coexistence of various materials, techniques, and visual worlds. In the examination of the works, flowing watercolor colors, powerful acrylic surfaces, and sculptural ceramic objects meet.

Art Experience at the KUNSTschmiede

The KUNSTschmiede of the New Artists' Colony Brannenburg provides the perfect setting for this exhibition. The focused exhibition atmosphere directs attention to color effects, surfaces, and spatial relationships. Thus, an aesthetic experience arises that appeals to both art-interested visitors and those seeking a personal connection to painting and sculpture.

Conclusion: Art as a Shared Creative Path

The opening reception Creatively Together offers a varied perspective on watercolor, acrylic, and ceramics. Visitors can expect an immediate art experience with different materials, forms, and moods. Those who wish to discover the connection between painterly nature observation and ceramic form language should experience the exhibition in Brannenburg live.
