20 Years kunst+werk Nußdorf: An Anniversary for Regional Art

The artist group kunst+werk nußdorf is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special annual exhibition in the school gymnasium in Nußdorf. At the opening on October 31, 2026, at 7 PM, the presentation of new paintings and objects will be combined with a look back at two decades of collaborative cultural work.

New Works and a Look Back

The focus will be on current works by the artist group as well as a video presentation that recalls previous church exhibitions, special shows on current and local themes, and participation in art channel projects. The event series Images-Sounds-Words will also be showcased in this retrospective. Artists who have occasionally accompanied kunst+werk in recent years will also present works.

Art as Part of Village Life

kunst+werk nußdorf was founded in 2006 by Renate Pröbstl and has developed into an important local network for artists and art enthusiasts. The annual exhibitions combine painting, drawing, objects, and collaborative cultural work with the idea of making art visible and accessible in the village. The exhibition thus stands for cultural education, encounter, and a vibrant regional art scene.

Music, Literature, and the Atmosphere of the Vernissage

The opening references the 1920s: music and literature create an atmospheric framework for viewing the works. Additionally, Mei Lieblingsstui will be awarded, connecting to the anniversary project Vui Stui, where people from Nußdorf and the surrounding area creatively designed everyday chairs. Thus, the exhibition connects aesthetic experience with memory, community, and a humorous engagement with the familiar object.

An Art Experience for the Region

The exhibition is aimed at art lovers, families, culture enthusiasts, and anyone who wishes to experience regional art in an open exhibition atmosphere. Different artistic styles, materials, and perspectives make the anniversary exhibition a multifaceted panorama of cultural engagement in Nußdorf.

Conclusion

The anniversary exhibition of kunst+werk nußdorf promises a versatile view of works between the present and the past, local connection and artistic independence. Those who want to learn about the development of the artist group and experience a special art event with music and literature should visit the vernissage on October 31, 2026, in the school gymnasium in Nußdorf.
