30 Minutes of Organ Sound in Kolbermoor
On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, the Organ Wednesday invites you to the Catholic parish church of the Coming of Christ in Kolbermoor. From 7:45 PM, the church space will be transformed into a concentrated sound space for organ music for about 30 minutes.
Between Sacred Space and Concert Stage
The organ unfolds its effect where architecture and acoustics interact directly. Long reverberation times, clear sound colors, and the dynamic range of the instrument create a special live atmosphere that highlights soft registers as well as festive sound output.
Music with Space for Inner Calm
The Kolbermoor Organ Wednesday connects church music and concert moments in a consciously compact format. The half-hour performance offers an opportunity to leave everyday life behind and experience the synchronization of space, resonance, and musical interpretation directly.
The Organ of the Coming of Christ
In the parish church, an organ from the workshop Frenger & Eder from Bruckmühl will sound. The instrument, consecrated in 2012, features 23 speaking stops on two manuals and pedal. It thus offers a versatile sound foundation for organ works from different eras and styles.
Free Admission
Admission to the Organ Wednesday is free. Music enthusiasts, lovers of sacred music, and anyone looking for a concentrated evening concert will experience a low-threshold and yet impressive organ concert in Kolbermoor.
Conclusion
The Organ Wednesday on October 7, 2026 promises an intense concert experience in exceptional church acoustics. Those who wish to experience organ music live, directly, and without an admission fee should not miss this musical evening at the Coming of Christ.
