Old Stack O´Lee brings Rosenheim Jazz tradition to Le Pirate
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the Rosenheim cult band Old Stack O´Lee will perform at the jazz club Le Pirate. Starting at 8:00 PM, decades of stage experience meets the intimate live atmosphere of the historic venue at Ludwigsplatz.
Between Dixieland, Swing and Modern Ballads
Old Stack O´Lee represents a versatile jazz program featuring Dixieland, Swing, Bop, Latin numbers, and melancholic ballads. The ensemble combines classic jazz idioms with unique arrangements and a direct, warm band sound.
Rosenheim Jazz History with Its Own Signature
The band was founded in 1973 by Reinhold Roeder as a school band and has developed into a significant jazz institution in the Rosenheim area with various line-ups. Their repertoire includes tributes to stylists like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Fats Waller, as well as original compositions and unconventional arrangements.
Live Music at Le Pirate
At Le Pirate, traditional jazz unfolds its special effect: clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, and drums intertwine and create a vibrant musical synchronization. The audience's mood thrives on swinging rhythms, precise interplay, and the immediate closeness between the stage and guests.
Free Admission and Jazz Up Close
The concert is announced as a free event. This provides a straightforward opportunity to experience the long-established band and their blend of jazz classics, ballads, and original arrangements live.
Those who appreciate Rosenheim jazz culture, authentic stage performance, and handmade sound will experience an evening with character at Le Pirate. The direct contact with the music makes Old Stack O´Lee a concert experience for jazz connoisseurs and curious newcomers.
