706 Band brings Rock’n’Roll and All-Time-Classics to Queens
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Queens Café and Pub in Wasserburg am Inn turns into a meeting point for live music. The 706 Band starts at 7:30 PM and combines Rock’n’Roll with well-known All-Time-Classics in an intimate club atmosphere.
Rock’n’Roll with a legendary sound
The band name 706 refers to Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, the address of the legendary Sun Studios. This musical connection fits the program: The lineup includes classics from Elvis, Creedence Clearwater Revival, the Stray Cats, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and AC/DC. The result is a varied mix of driving Rock’n’Roll, striking guitar riffs, and timeless refrains.
Live atmosphere at Queens Café and Pub
The music will play in the band room of Queens during regular dining hours. The audience and the band will interact at close range. The compact club setting creates an immediate audience atmosphere, with drums, bass, and guitar sounds flowing directly through the space.
Experienced musicians and familiar classics
The three musicians of the 706 Band have many years of stage experience and played together in the party and rock band Overdrive in the 1990s. Their stage performance focuses on recognition, musical precision, and a repertoire that speaks to multiple generations. Between Rock’n’Roll roots, Classic Rock, and major Pop-Rock hits, a versatile concert experience emerges.
Free admission, hat for the musicians
Admission to the live music is free. The band performs without a fixed fee, and during the evening, a hat will be passed around for voluntary contributions. Reservations are usually not possible in the band room. Those looking for the best proximity to the stage should arrive early at Queens.
Conclusion: An evening for true live music
The 706 Band stands for Rock’n’Roll, All-Time-Classics, and an energetic live atmosphere at Wasserburg's Queens. Anyone wanting to experience familiar songs in a casual pub setting and enjoy live music up close should not miss this concert evening.
