Live music without safety net

A jam session thrives on the moment: well-known jazz standards, bluesy twists, and surprising musical dialogues emerge directly on stage. The focus is on joy of playing, improvisation, and the immediate connection between the audience and the ensemble.

The Rosenheim jazz living room

Le Pirate is considered an established meeting point for the Bavarian jazz scene. The intimate atmosphere with around 39 seats and up to about 60 seats in total creates short distances between the stage and the audience. Here, experienced instrumentalists meet courageous beginners.

Open stage for beginners and professionals

At the sessions in Le Pirate, musicians from entry to professional level are welcome. Classical real book standards and jazzy arrangements are just as much the focus as spontaneous musical encounters. Virtuosity counts, but the shared joy of playing takes precedence.
