Bavaro-Pop with heart and humor: Schmied & Schwerdtel live in Prien
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Andi Schmied and Markus Schwerdtel will transform the Schützenwirt Prien into a stage for handcrafted music, personal stories, and Bavarian humor. The concert starts at 7:00 PM and offers acoustic Bavaro-Pop between quiet moments, fast numbers, and winking lyrics.
Over 100 years of life experience, a new chapter
Can one still become a newcomer after 50? Schmied & Schwerdtel provide the charming proof. Both musicians have been making music for many years, often previously with cover versions in small circles. Since the end of 2024, their own songs have been the focus of their program, mostly written by Andi Schmied.
Acoustic Bavaro-Pop between feeling and fun
Stylistically, the duo moves between Werner Schmidbauer, Haindling, and Hubert von Goisern. The musical range spans from calm and contemplative to lively and humorous. Acoustic instrumentation, understandable lyrics, and an immediate stage performance create a live atmosphere that remains close to the audience.
An evening concert with attitude and audience closeness
Schmied & Schwerdtel combine musical storytelling with Bavarian everyday language and relatable observations. Their varied program carries the experience of more than 100 shared life years, yet sets its gaze forward. Performances at the Rosenheim Small Arts Days and other events have already brought enthusiastic reactions to the duo.
Free admission, hat is passed around
Admission to the concert is free. Instead of a fixed ticket price, a hat is passed around. This allows visitors to experience an entertaining concert evening at the Schützenwirt Prien while directly supporting the musicians on-site.
Conclusion: Experience Bavarian music up close
Schmied & Schwerdtel stand for acoustic Bavaro-Pop, personal songs, and a relaxed concert atmosphere full of humor. Those who appreciate handcrafted music, Bavarian lifestyle, and direct audience closeness will experience a special evening at the Schützenwirt Prien on October 24, 2026. Better be there live and don’t forget the hat.
