Clark & The Aces bring Blues-Rock and Rock’n’Roll to Rimsting
On Friday, November 6, 2026, the community hall in the Rimsting fire station will transform into a meeting point for fans of handcrafted roots music. Clark & The Aces will take the stage at 8:30 PM and present an energetic mix of old-school blues, rock’n’roll, rockabilly, and raw roots influences.
A trio with driving sound
The Belgian formation consists of Clark Kenis on vocals and double bass, Wouter Verhelst on guitar, and Tim Peeraer on drums. Their sound combines bouncy rhythm-and-blues grooves with edgy guitar tones, distinctive bass lines, and drumming that propels every number forward.
Between blues tradition and rockabilly energy
Clark & The Aces delve deep into the history of blues and rock’n’roll, but present familiar stylistic elements with their own stage presence. The orchestration remains deliberately straightforward: double bass, guitar, drums, and voice create an authentic live sound without unnecessary distance to the audience.
Fresh line-up, new repertoire
With the current line-up and a renewed program, the band is among the most promising Belgian roots acts. The debut EP Open Road was released at the end of 2025. Additionally, the group has been working on new material for their first complete album. They have already gained international stage experience at festivals such as the Kwadendamme Blues Festival, Sjock Festival, Delft Blues, Vlissingen Vintage, Turnhout Rootsnight, and Rockin’ Race Jamboree.
Live atmosphere in the fire station
The BluesClubChiemgau is known for its immediate audience proximity and concentrated concert atmosphere. In the community hall, a concert experience is created with short distances between the stage and audience, powerful sound, and the unique tension of a club where every gesture of the stage performance remains palpable.
An evening for blues and rock’n’roll fans
Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert begins at 8:30 PM. Reservations can be made through BluesClubChiemgau; tickets will also be available at the box office as long as the event is not sold out. There is no guarantee of a fixed seat.
Anyone wishing to experience traditional blues motifs, danceable rock’n’roll, and authentic roots music in a concentrated live atmosphere will find an evening with Clark & The Aces filled with energy, character, and direct stage sound. This Belgian trio belongs live on stage – and in Rimsting.
