Cinematic Sound Worlds at the Autumn Concert in Rohrdorf
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Rohrdorf Music Band invites you to the traditional Autumn Concert at the Turner-Hölzl-Halle. Starting at 8 PM, around 77 participants will transform the concert evening into a diverse wind music experience featuring powerful film music, modern symphonic wind music, and demanding competition pieces. Doors open at 7 PM.
Grand Images, Strong Melodies
The program takes you deep into the dramatic sound world of The Magnificent Seven and Marvel's Avengers. Broad brass fanfares, precise percussion accents, and colorful woodwinds bring musical film scenes to life before your inner eye. The stage performance combines orchestral power with the direct energy of an engaged wind orchestra.
Demanding Wind Music with an Adventure Factor
With Red Rock Mountain and La Città, the imposing competition pieces of 2026 are on the program. Additionally, adventurous compositions by Two Steps from Hell and Oscar Navarro will be featured. Under the direction of Christoph Danner, careful conducting, rhythmic synchronization, and dynamic orchestration meet a vibrant concert dramaturgy.
Young Talent Opens the Concert Evening
The youth band Rohrdorf will present the pre-program and thus make a musical statement for the active youth work of the association. The Rohrdorf Music Band combines traditional, modern, and classical wind music with the promotion of young musicians. This creates a concert evening that brings generations together and strengthens the regional cultural scene audibly.
Free Admission and Seat Reservations
Admission is free. Donations for youth and club support will be gladly accepted at the end of the concert. Free seat reservations are available since October 10 at Wildblume Floristik at Dorfplatz 3 in Rohrdorf. Remaining seat reservations can be obtained at the box office on the evening of the concert.
Conclusion: Experience Live Wind Music with a Special Atmosphere
The Autumn Concert of the Rohrdorf Music Band combines great film music, demanding concert literature, and regional club work into a vibrant live experience. Those who love orchestral sound colors, gripping themes, and the immediate audience atmosphere of a concert evening will experience a musical highlight in the Voralpenland at the Turner-Hölzl-Halle.
