Chamber music with international brilliance: The Clemente Trio in Kiefersfelden
On Monday, October 26, 2026, the Clemente Trio will transform the DYNAFIT Speed Factory in Kiefersfelden into a focused sound space for great chamber music. Peter Clemente on violin and viola, Konstantin Pfiz on cello, and Paul Rivinius on piano will create an evening concert within the series A Monday in the Month of Music and Art, balancing orchestral richness, intimate communication, and finest musical synchronization.
Three masterpieces, three musical worlds
The program leads from Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Trio in D Major, Op. 70 No. 1, the famous Ghost Trio, through Claude Debussy's early Piano Trio in G Major to Anton Arensky's Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 32. Beethoven's mysterious Largo lends a dark, tense atmosphere to the first work. Debussy's youthful piece opens the sound for finely graded colors, while Arensky's late romantic language expands emotionally.
Virtuoso stage performance with chamber music precision
The Clemente Trio represents an interplay in which each voice retains its own character while becoming part of a greater musical architecture. Violin, viola, cello, and piano engage in an intense dialogue; motifs wander through the ensemble, dynamics and articulation respond immediately to each other. This precise orchestration in a small format creates the special live atmosphere of a piano trio.
A distinguished ensemble with worldwide concert activity
With the win of the prestigious international chamber music prize from ARD in 1998 in Munich, the Clemente Trio gained international attention. Concert tours have taken the ensemble to venues including the Cologne Philharmonie, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Musikverein Vienna, the Concert Hall Athens, and Carnegie Hall in New York. The trio has also performed in North America, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and Japan. In 2016, the ensemble celebrated its 30th anniversary.
